Vokietijoje organizuojama konferencija.

CIVILSCAPE will celebrate its
10th Anniversary 23-26 February of 2018
Ten years ago, the civil societies involved with the landscape issues joined forces and mobilized themselves after the first international treaty entirely dedicated to the management, protection and planning of the landscape has been born. Their answer to the European Landscape Convention was the establishment of CIVILSCAPE, the common European platform representing the voice of the citizens deeply connected with their landscapes.
Ten years went by with a variety of projects. A heap of lessons, achievements, falls, disillusions, but also brand-new ideas and many inspirations has been experienced along the way. CIVILSCAPE has brought together a huge amount of people who otherwise would not have a chance to meet and work together for a common goal. Join in person this landscape community by attending the event marking our “birthday party” in Aschaffenburg, Germany.
But the reason to meet there is not only looking back and to celebrate, but rather to look forward with a vision of the civil society towards the future developments of our landscapes. That is why we cordially invite each of you to participate there in launching our own initiative – the European Decade of the Cultural Landscapes. The event is also organised as our early activity within the European Cultural Heritage Year 2018!
During the days of 23 – 26 February 2018, there will be held the conference, general assembly, advisory board meeting, projects fair, information for funding opportunities, meeting of the task forces, birthday party and – of course the excursion in the winter cultural landscape of Spessart, a famous upland region, as well as a guided city tour to Aschaffenburg! All-inclusive package of 3 nights accommodation, all meals, transfers, and excursions will be available at a very convenient rate for the early birds and the CIVILSCAPE members. Aschaffenburg is easily accessible via Frankfurt Rhine-Main Airport. Details will be announced soon.
The Archaeological Spessart-Project, one of the founding members of CIVILSCAPE, together with the rest of the team are looking forward to meeting all of you.
