The Geomorphology & Society commission of the International Geographical Union (IGU) is pleased to announce the Call for Abstracts for our inaugural Conference of IGU Geomorphology & Society in Taipei, Taiwan, September 16-17, 2014.
We invite abstract submissions for oral and poster presentations. We particularly encourage contributions that exhibit an innovative set of conceptual and methodological approaches. Abstracts should be focused on:
1. Geomorphological processes& hazards: Observation and measurement;
2. Impact of global changes and regional environmental changeto the society from a geomorphological perspective;
3. Geomorphologicalresponse to human activity;
4. Geo-diversity, geo-conservation, geo-heritage, geo-tourism;
Abstract Submission Guidelines:
Abstracts on no more than one A4 page should be submitted by July 31st, 2014. The abstract must be typed using 1.5 spaced Times Roman (12 Font Size) and contain the title of the paper, name of the author(s), affiliation, text. Abstracts should be submitted as an email attachment to Professor Jiun-Chuan Lin at jclin@ntu.edu.tw.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION IS July 31, 2014.
