The Department for Social and Economic Geography and Regional Studies, the Faculty of Geology and Geography, V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University (Ukraine), which is a corporate member of the Regional Studies Association in 2014, invites you to take part at The International Scientific and Practical Conference, Devoted to the 80th Anniversary from Foundation of the Department for Social and Economic Geography and Regional Studies «Region-2014: Optimal Development Strategy» which will be held on 6-7 November, 2014.
For the participation in the conference you need to submit an application form until 1 April, 2014. The information about the conference is in the attached file.
We also welcome you to publish your academic articles in the Journal of Human Geography. The journal is included in the list of Ukraine’s scientific professional publications (according to the Certified Staff Evaluation Department of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine), in which theses results for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (geographical sciences) may be published. A call for papers is attached.
