Septintajame mokslo almanacho Geografija ir edukacija numeryje spausdinami straipsniai, susiję su įvairių reiškinių erdvine geografine sklaida ir edukacijos tema. viename straipsnyje analizuojama žemės reforma Lietuvoje, kitame – nacionalinio parko „Braslavo ežerai“ (Baltarusija) floristinė įvairovė. Dviejuose straipsniuose plėtojama edukacijos tema: mokytojų rengimo patirtis Pedagogikos studijose ir vieta grįstas (place-based) geografinis ugdymas.
Straipsnyje apie žemės reformą konkretaus Meironių kaimo (Ignalinos rajone) pavyzdžiu atskleidžiama, kaip dėl pertvarkomų žemės santykių keičiasi žemės priklausomybės ir naudojimo tvarka. Rėžiniuose kaimuose (one-street (linear) village) žemė dažniausiai naudojama ekstensyviai. Žemės savininkai daugiausia užsiima rekreacija, kaimo turizmu. Nacionalinio parko „Braslavo ežerai“ pavyzdžiu parodoma įvairių geosistemų floristinė (fitocenozių) įvairovė, numatoma jų tolimesnė raida. straipsnyje, skirtame mokytojų rengimui, atskleidžiamas požiūris į mokytoją kaip kūrėją. Aprašomi jaunųjų pedagogų studijų organizavimo ypatumai, pristatomas tyrimas, kaip ugdyti studentų gebėjimą spręsti nestandartines problemas, ugdyti jų kūrybinį mąstymą. straipsnyje apie vieta grįstą geografinį ugdymą analizuojamas geografijos mokymas, remiantis gimtosios vietos pažinimu. Konkrečiai nagrinėjamas geografijos mokymo atvejis Paberžės miestelyje (Vilniaus rajone). Remiantis atliktu tyrimu, pristatomas pa- rengtas geografinis pažintinis takas po Paberžės miestelį ir jo apylinkes.

Preface
The seventh issue of the scientific almanac Geography and education publishes articles related to the spatial geographical coverage of various phenomena and the subject of education. One article is dedicated to the land reform in Lithuania. The other article analyses the floristic diversity of the Braslav Lakes National Park (Belarus). Two articles are dedicated to education: experience of the training of teachers in the education studies and place-based geographical education.
In the article dedicated to the land reform, a specific example of Meironiai village (Ignalina district) is used to demonstrate how the reorganisation of land relations changes the procedure of land ownership and use. In one-street (linear) villages, the use of land is usually extensive. Land owners are usually engaged in recreation and rural tourism. The example of Braslav Lakes National Park demonstrates the floristic diversity of various geosystems (phytocenoses) and allows to stipulate their future evolution. The article dedicated to the training of teachers presents the attitude to the teacher as a creator. The particularities of organisation of studies of young educators are described, the study on education of the skills of students allowing them to solve non-standard problems and to educate their creative thinking is presented. The article dedicated to place-based geographical education analyses the teaching of geography based on the knowledge on the native place. The case of teaching of geography is discussed by using the example of Paberžė settlement (Vilnius district). Pursuant to the research performed, a prepared geographical educational route in Paberžė settlement and its surroundings is presented.
We inform the authors and readers of the scientific almanac Geography and education that the journal is now published by the funds of the Lithuanian Geographical society.
